Below is a photo of a book case which sits on one part of my desk. I’ve cropped everything out to just show 20 of my Preacher’s Outline & Sermon Bibles. Currently, I have 21 volumes including the entire New Testament (14 volumes, including the subject and index volume).
Thus far, I only have the first 7 volumes of the Old Testament which covers the first five books.
In time, and as money permits, I work on collecting the entire series.
The entire bible is not yet completed. I still need the following:
Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther
Isaiah 1 (Chapters 1-35)
Isaiah 2 (Chapters 36-66) NEW!
Jeremiah 1 (Chapters 1-29) NEW!
Jeremiah 2 (Chapters 30-52) NEW!
As you can see, they are still working on several sections of the Old Testament. Some books of the bible are rather large and must be broken into 2 volumes. Both Genesis & Exodus contain 2 volumes each.
In all, I would need the above 13 volumes to bring my library up to date with the available volumes. I can obtain all of them through various sources; however, the cheapest place would be the Scripture Truth Book Company at a cost of $28.95 each, or $376.35 total. With the Scripture Truth Book Company, shipping is free on orders over $100, so $376.35 would be my total.
Thus far, I’ve already spent $607.95 for the 21 volumes currently on the shelves below. That would bring my total to $984.30 for the entire 34 volume collection, which is still not a complete coverage of the entire bible.
I saw one report where Jeremiah 2 also covers Lamentations.
If so, Ezekiel and Daniel would still need to be written to finish up the major prophets. From there, all 12 books of the minor prophets would need to be covered. I would image that several might be covered under one volume’ however, Daniel would probably be another 2 volume set.
Finally, the five books of wisdom (Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon) would need to be written. Certainly Psalms & Proverbs would take more than 1 volume each.
